What exactly is Buddyship?

expand_more

Buddyship is a project-based student community designed to foster growth, collaboration, and creative momentum. We connect students with similar interests to build real-world projects, share knowledge, and develop professional portfolios in a supportive 'Creative Greenhouse' environment.

Is Buddyship free to join?

expand_more

Yes, our core community and most open-source projects are free for all students. We believe in democratizing access to collaborative learning. Some premium workshops or specialized certification tracks may have a small fee to cover platform costs.

Projects

How do I start a new project?

expand_more

You can click the 'New Project' button in your dashboard. You'll be asked to provide a project title, description, required roles (e.g., designer, developer), and a rough timeline. Once submitted, your project will be visible in the 'Projects' gallery for potential collaborators to see.

Can I join multiple projects at once?

expand_more

While we encourage focus, you can participate in up to three projects simultaneously. This limit ensures that every project receives the attention it needs and prevents student burnout.

Contributions

How are contributions tracked?

expand_more

We integrate with tools like GitHub and Figma to track activity. Project leads also perform weekly check-ins where team members report their progress. High-quality contributions earn you 'Karma Points' within the community.
